: Registry booster : fudgem July 04, 2006, 02:01:35 PM I've had an e mail from VNUnet offering a registry booster system scan. Could the team please advise whether this is of any use, is it worthwhile doing? My desktop is 5 years old but is not giving me any problems apart from the occasional restart, and I am really of the opinion 'if it aint broke don't fix it' but they say '94% of PC's have corrupt and unused registry data that may cause slowdowns or crashes, check yours now'
: Re: Registry booster : windowsxp550 July 04, 2006, 08:31:01 PM Fudgem,
Hmmm... :yathink: I agree with you, if it aint broke dont fix it. I have learned my lesson on that one, many, many times. : Re: Registry booster : fudgem July 05, 2006, 12:54:57 PM Right, thanks. I'll leave well alone :tiphat:
: Re: Registry booster : thedon57 July 05, 2006, 03:42:24 PM Dont install it even when you have paid for it it revers back to the trial version and when you e-mail then to complain your e-mails are either sent back unanswered or the link they give you again goes to trial version.
At this moment in time I am fighting them for my money back. : Re: Registry booster : fudgem July 05, 2006, 04:08:51 PM well if I hadn't already decided to leave it alone, that would have made my mind up :ylaugh: :ylaugh:
: Re: Registry booster : Essexboy July 05, 2006, 04:33:25 PM You are better off with the old JV16 or (a bit sneaky this) download regvacz and you get a fairly long trial and it is very safe and thorough, with a registry defrag as well. Whenever a new version is released I download it and give my registry a good beating..
