Article: Blog (for free) on FixMyXP (http://www.fixmyxp.com/content/view/108/2/)

Yes that’s right, registered users of FixMyXP.com can have their very own blog.      Please make sure to adhere to these rules (http://www.fixmyxp.com/forums/rules.php?sid=793fd3b466770b71c7c0a02457371a9c)

I have left the publishing portion to be controlled by you, the users, however if I see that this is being abused or that the rules aren’t being followed, I will have to remove this control.

It’s free to register (to register, simply click on the “Register” button located below the login box ).

Once registered simply login using your username and password.

Once logged in you should see a new User Menu.  In this menu click Write a Blog Entry

Then on the right hand side a window will open with a Document editor (resembling Word).  You can write your blog entry here (don’t forget to give it a title).

Once you are done, your blog entry will look something like this

To complete, simply scroll down and select whether you want the blog entry to be seen by Everyone, whether you want the blog to be Published (Unpublished allows you to come back at a later time and finish the entry) and if you want the blog entry to be on the front page of the blog.

Then click Save Blog Entry and you are done.

To add another entry, simply repeat the steps.   Please note, that any blog entries that do not adhere to the rules will be deleted and the user that posted the offending entry will be warned.  If there is another offense the user will be banned.  Note: All IPs are logged by the server.
