i can either reinstall it through the modified version or uninstall it copletely and reinstall the program again. If I unintall it will i lose all of my files? I can't even find the missing DLL on the web. any suggestions? as usual, thanks in advance : Re: missing dll : Squeezebox December 04, 2007, 11:28:57 AM Uninstalling and reinstalling or repair installs won't affect any files you have as data, they will still be there. If you are using Lotus Organiser, I would recommend you create a copy of your organiser file just in case.
: Re: missing dll : mike02 December 04, 2007, 02:56:45 PM hi,
uninstalled and reinstalled it. works fine thanks again : Re: missing dll : mike02 December 05, 2007, 02:18:00 PM hi, back hopefully for the last time
Lotus is up and running but i need to know how I can take out the Lotus icons that start up on the task bar A lotus organizer is starting up everytime I turn on the computer. You guys are great! : Re: missing dll : Squeezebox December 05, 2007, 04:42:14 PM It's been a few years since I had the full Lotus Smartsuite installed and from what I remember, it's a bit of a beast to tame to how you want it to behave.
You can tame it though - but you are going to have to nose around settings etc to find out, I can't help. There is an alternative, and this is what I did. I only wanted to install the word processor, the spreadsheet and Organizer. So I chose custom install and didn't install the whole smartsuite. You could go to add/remove programs and remove the elements you don't want/need. Might solve it for you. Or you could go to Start/Run and type 'msconfig'. Deselect anything that is in the startup list that you don't want running. : Re: missing dll : mike02 December 06, 2007, 07:25:06 AM that worked
thanks again for looking into this Enjoy the Holidays |
