You could be right - "simply" being the key word...  If need be, I may need to look at the next stp up - "simple" and robust coding.   I have run multiple commands via a single command line before, but it has been awhile..

I wouldn't have thought it can be done simply. Browsers communicate using HTTP, HTML etc. DOS is another language.

It would require programming to create a utility or something.

In the devicemgr, right-click your wireless card and select "Uninstall" & restart the computer.  This will allow Windows to reinstall the wlan card.  If there is a problem, contact your vendor and ask them to assist you with reinstalling your Wireless NIC.  Assuming your wNIC is not DOE, this is a very "simple" process...

BTW, this was very likely your problem with no internet connection on the wireless setup.

I checked 'Device Manager'
and the problems' worse. my
Network Drive's have been unistalled.
How do i reinstall the wireless adapter?

Greetings...

This website was a nice discovery while wondering around aimlessly on the net... As I am always in search of the truth, I am an avid DOS/Command line user.

In any case, if this is an active site/forum, I hope to offer a few solutions while passing thrurecognize and maybe even drop off some old laundry off too.

HELP: Running DOS Commands from a Webpage

Is anyone aware of any methods to run (execute) simple DOS commands from a webpage?

For example, if you click on this Google.com link, the “background” code will open up a browser page of Google's homepage...

I would like to be able to do the same with basic DOS commands. I would prefer not to have to rely on downloads, execs, multi-line batch files, complicated wscripts, etc.   For example, I would like to execute the "ncpa.cpl" command (e.g., "start ncpa.cpl") by just clicking on the html "link".

I am sure there is a relatively simple solution, but I am beginning to feel like I am wondering 'round in a forest, looking for bread crumbs...  glupek2 Any takers?  Any thoughts? Any aspirin?

Thanks in advance.
