First things first, extreme illiteracy of computers here, so please be patient..thanks.

            Well, I was given a desktop..and when I tried to run a defrag on it, at 49% of the scan it produced a  message that said the program was stopped by C:\WINDOWS\Tasks\sa.dat

             What is this all about ?? Can someone help me w/removal ?? From what I've read so far it kinda sounds like this Alcan worm thingy...I'm actually clueless tho...I'm capable of following directions though...(don't ask any of my ex's that...lol)                                                         

  Can somebody please help me ???  thanks 2 all  ...

This website seems to be very educational..have just accquired a laptop and desktop..desktop has xp/pro..

             laptop has xp/home..looking forward to learning alot here..pleasure to meet everyone..

Desktop has some problems..but will post ?'s in proper forum..
