Hi, wondering if someone could help me.

On starting the computer, with windows XP, it goes through the set up process and then straight to a blue screen saying that the computer is shut down to protect it from a problem.

I've tried going through F8 to get to last known configuration but I still end up at the same blue screen, same writing, through F12 the same thing happens.  I can't seem to go any further.
