I have been on this same connection for 2 years and only recently started having this problem.
I run CCLeaner on a regular basis.  I connect at 45 kbps and that is consistent.  No shared service.  Which all leads me to think it has to be a setting that is the problem.  I have done anti-virus, spyware, trojan and malware scans.  All clean.  Also checked and cleaned Registry.   I have ZoneAlarm firewall, AVG Anti-virus and Spybot S&D.  All updated.  Could one of these be the problem?  Like I said, I've only had this problem for about a month now but boy is it a pain.  Dial-up is bad enough in itself but to have to refresh 2 or 3 times just to get a page loaded is driving me nuts!

I tried your fix but no help.  I have no problem getting into sites of any kind.  It's just that the page loads halfway then stops.  I get no error messages.  When I refresh, the page continues loading.  Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 "refreshes" to get the complete page to load.  It does the same thing no matter what browser I use.

Hi everyone!  Hope someone can help.  It seems that when I visit web pages that are rather long my browser loads half the page and then stops, stating that it is "done".  I figure that it must be a setting that is wrong but I have no clue.  I run XP2, zonealarm free, AVg antivirus, have 1 meg ram and am on AOLSE.  Any ideas?  If any further infro is needed please tell me.  Thanks.
