Hi, just a quick question without supporting details to get an idea of where to go next. Installed a second hard drive [Maxtor 160GB] on XP pro, saw it was recognized but did not initialize or format. After initial bootup after installation of the drive, booted to Win. I shut down, having something else to do. Several days later on bootup, no bootup to Win, left with the message "invalid allocation table". Question: is the hard drive bad just based on the above facts?
Hi from Washington state where it never rains except on weekdays and weekends during the day and at night. I just want to see where this message ends up.
