got to this site and download and name IE to what you want.
It will remove the name from the top of IE.

No I think you misunderstood Floydoid.  I really wanted to know what was the point of changing 'Internet Explorer' into something like 'cornflakes'

Is it a security thing or what? :?

Well it's certainly nothing to do with security. Just personal preference IMO, or in some cases, just because you can.

Ahh, that's what's meant by branding.  I don't get that anyway, just Microsoft Internet Explorer. :oops:

I wonder if it will like being called fudgem? or will it stop work in protest? :lol:
