Don, I logged into your own site because I need some info for a mate who wants to build his own pc.
I sent him your link but he tells me that there not much info there.
He wants to build a specific pc as a music workstation...I posted the info on C/A a while ago but got little feedback on it...
Can you help us out?
Heres a link to the original post on C/A with what he wants to do....
Cheers!

Strum,

As any PC build can be very much personalised and according to budget, giving someone advice is going to be 'biased' on personal experience and extremely variable.

When I bought my first PC, I spent time first, reading PC magazines, looking at the adverts and getting used to the terms etc. Then I made a choice. This was in the days when most PC's were only bought mail-order!

This web site is all about building PC's and there are forums etc. Be a good place to read up first, then ask specific questions when a plan has been made.

Thats great Dave, just had a quick glance there, looks very cool. He reckons he can do it but is worried about drivers and compatibility, maybe he can find the solutions there.
Thanks again mate!  ysmiley

Do you mean my signature? If you do, I'll change mine if you change yours.

Hi Strum,

Which particular smiley did you want to replace the :-) with?   (Try to keep the replacement smiley around the same size as the others)...?
