I assume you mean a program called XTNDConnect PC.

The best way to remove a program is through Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. If you have problems in doing that, try in Safe Mode.

You can't remove a program in registry, athough you can prevent it from working properly by finding registry entries that refer to it. You would have to delete the program's folder through Windows Explorer, then remove the registry entries.

To find registry entries, search in Registry Editor for all references to any exe file that is in the program's folder. There may be references in registry to other files in that folder, such as dll files. It would be impossible to tell you all registry entries that this program might have.

A better way would be to download a free registry repair tool that will find redundant keys - but you say you don't want to do that.

If you were to just delete the program's folder, it might cause you a problem due to registry keys still there. On the other hand it might not, (probably won't) and you might be happy to leave the registry alone - even if there are a few redundant keys.

One thing you could try first, is to move the program's folder to another location (not in C:\Programs\) first and see if that causes any problems.  If you were to just delete the program's folder, you could always restore it from the Recycle Bin if you had problems.

so i did a little bit of all 3 and i finally gave up and used jv16 power tools from essexboys website good stuff its worth the single digit megabytes and i got rid of a lot of other stuff i thought i had deleted every trace of long ago  yet again thaks
