This might sound really dumb but i've downloaded vista beta2, burnt it, and now I'm wondering if I need a key for installation.

There isnt a link anywhere for a product key at that download site. Am I too late or what? Could use a link if at all possible.
Could someone please help me out on this or am I too late?

I had just downloaded Vista on June 30th, 2006 myself, to ensure that I got it in time.   After reading your question, I double checked my email and sure enough there was an email from Microsoft, with the product key listed at the bottom of the email.   

After I replied to this post I went back to my email and noticed that on the same day I had received another email from Microsoft.  I checked it and there was another product key (a different one).    I have no idea how that happened since I only downloaded Vista once.

So you are in luck.  If you want this extra key for Vista Beta 2 , Private Message me with your email address.
