Is yutube "Son of P2P"

Ok I think any news about yutube being downloaded by various flv. streems file catchers, would shock me about as much as when I heard that GB was American. So is it to all effects a P2P now?
However, there are reasons to think that nothing will happen and that yutube will be able to continue, these reasons being:
a. that most of their videos are either private contributions, or things that have been on television at one point or another.
b. yutube does not offer a means of download, there is no download button, meaning that it is not complient to ripping.
c. the quality is just not worth ripping.
d. the fact that they are always there and that the ripper's friends can just see them with a link means that there is no point in filling up the comp and then trying to send stuff as before, the link being quicker and previewable in the process.
e. yutube does not have music files, which are the most sort after stuff on P2Ps.
Conclusion: yutube is a P2P but the P2P climate has changed enough for them to get away with it.
A point aside: P2P music sharing is probably on the decline too, not because of outside pressure, nor because there is some better music downloading way. It is simply because most people first hear new music with their friends where they can take a copy at will onto a USB key or mp3 player, or their friends just send them new tracks using msn, the advantage being that since one knows who is sending and what is being sent, one likelyhood that it is malicious malware or something other than what one has asked for are slim.
Opinions welcome, I myself am interested in changes in computer trends.

I think that Fleamailman is asking what people think about YouTube. Is it just another form of file sharing site? It has been in the news recently and is planning to expand its portfolio - partnering with Warner Bros as a starting point.
Up till now it's free, but needs funding to survive.
What do you think about it?
Is it some kind of P2P site as has been suggested?

Thedon57, is there a word that you don't understand or is it the whole sentence, or probably my spelling then? I will try again and sorry:
Yutube streems are flv. files stored on server agreed, but although one is not supposed to be able to download them one can with ease meaning that the copyrite conditions are bypassed, plus anyone can upload stuff to them and download from them, so it becomes a peer to peer by default: I can share my stuff you by loading it onto yutube then, I can gain copyrited stuff from there in this manner. Hence my "Son of P2P" remark.
The above is the first bit then, sorry if you disagree or couldn't follow.
The next bit was my own reflections, stating the reasons why even if it was now a file sharing process by default, various reasons would allow it to continue. reason a-e then:
a. that most of their videos are either private contributions, or things that have been on television at one point or another.(meaning that they from the public domain, sorry should have written that I guess)
b. yutube does not offer a means of download, there is no download button, meaning that it is not complient to ripping.
c. the quality is just not worth ripping.
d. the fact that they are always there and that the ripper's friends can just see them with a link means that there is no point in filling up the comp and then trying to send stuff as before, the link being quicker and previewable in the process.
e. yutube does not have music files, which are the most sort after stuff on P2Ps.
Conclusion: yutube is a P2P but the P2P climate has changed enough for them to get away with it.(meaning that although yutube has become unintensionally a file sharing process by default, the general climate towards this has changed and yutube is not going to be closed down because of it.)
Hope the above is clear, if not let me know and I will try again. The rest of the post below was a point aside so it does not matter though I have repasted it again.
A point aside: P2P music sharing is probably on the decline too, not because of outside pressure, nor because there is some better music downloading way. It is simply because most people first hear new music with their friends where they can take a copy at will onto a USB key or mp3 player, or their friends just send them new tracks using msn, the advantage being that since one knows who is sending and what is being sent, the likelyhood that it is malicious malware or something other than what one has asked for are slim.
Opinions welcome, I myself am interested in changes in computer trends. This is not issued as a challenge but more as something that I hope brings interest towards this site.
