Every week about once a week I will need to turn off my modem and my router. Wait a few minutes turn on my modem, wait for the modem to full load...then turn on my router. I will reset the ip address on my computer and then it will work, but it constantly happens.
What could the problem be? How can I fix this? I did upload the most current firmware.

Hello  Evan,
This sounds like the modem, not the router.
Could you by pass the router for a few weeks to test it?

If it is your modem you should be able to get your ISP to give you a new one.
