I'm trying to open a nfo type file. I've tried using notepad. Notepad opens the file but it just jiberish. What do I need to open this file?

Why do you want to view the file?

The .NFO extension is sometimes used to denote an iNFOrmation file. Open in any text editor. If the file is in DOS ASCII format with ASCII graphic characters you can use the DAMN NFO Viewer to show the characters. Most Windows fonts do not have the older DOS graphic characters.

It's also used by some Warez software - to be avoided.

This file is actually in a computer that controls a machine where I work. I'm having problems w/ the machine.
