I had my computer set to automatically log me on since I am the only user.  I recently installed some programs and my automatic logon was cancelled out in the registry.  After attempting to change back to the auto logon, I found that each time I logged off my registry change was cancelled even though I removed the programs were sequentially removed.  I can't seem to find what is causing the registry change.  (I hope this makes sense.)
