Blade over a year ago I was a member of a couple of Yahoo, I think, holiday forums and both of them had time limited editing. I suppose I'm still a member of both. One was

Thanks Peter, I didn’t check out any of the threads  - the first thing I looked at was who it was powered by. It is powered by “vBulletin Version 3.5.0”, so they are not phpBB, I’ll assume they must rent them which gives the Admin a lot more options. What you’ve got to realise is, that space has still got to be paid for.

Blade

I'm not into the technicalities of the different forums I'm a member of but surely if one forum can have a feature like limited time editing another forum, if it wanted to, could write that facility into its program. Maybe I'm being silly but if it is on one forum's template why is it not on them all?

Peter, I’ve just had another look at your link again - and it looks like they use the main format of phpBB. So even though it’s powered by vBulletin - someone is clever enough in vBulletin to put some scripts in phpBB and customise it for a time limit edit.

That’s best I can tell you.
