Hello i need help relly bad i play world of warcraft and when ever i do play it my computer will do 1 of 2 things it will restart or it will black screen and i have to shut it off manually ive done everything the world of warcraft website said to do and nothing i have a radeon 9550 andi think it may be the video card even thow it was runnning it in with all the graphics pushed to its highest befor it wont do it now and imabout ready to go buy a new video card but i thot i should get a perfessionals appenion first if you need to know anything else just post it and i will tell you if i can

The first thing to do is, stop XP from restarting when it encounters a problem.

Right-click on My Computer, then click on Properties.
Advanced tab, then under the Startup & Recovery section, click on 'Settings'.
Make sure there is no tick in the box 'Automatically restart' under the System Failure section.
Click on OK to finish.

That should bring you up a blue screen next time it fails and (hopefully) point to the cause.

If it's only the one program that is giving you trouble, it points to a program file that is corrupted. Have you tried reinstalling? If you have and it didn't resolve it, try uninstalling and doing a clean install.

ya i had tghat unchecked but it still wont run i gess im going to have to reinstall the whole thing thx if it dosnt work i will post agen =P

If you didn't get a BSOD then it would suggest a hardware problem, maybe your video card is overheating

it wasnt over heating but i do have another problem now when i reinstalled world of warcraft it ran but after i loged out it said (Please install a 3D accelerator card with a duel - TMU sapport) so if anyone knows how to fix this problem plz tell me  ybiggrin i have a radeon 9550 video card if you need anymore info tell me

Maybe you've answered your own question - you need to install a 3D accelerator card. The Radeon is supposed to deliver 3D, but perhaps it's not good enough for your game.

Unfortunately, I'm not into gaming, maybe someone who is will have something more to offer ....

thx for the help i apriciate it alot do you guys sugjest any video cards becouse i dont want to have to replace the next one in a year like i did this one  yquestion
