Before regormatting hard drive this program worked fine, now when trying to re-installing it it tells me publisher can't be verified!!  How do I correct this??

Hi Karen,

Xoftspy was one program that was not very well thought of. If it's some time since you bought it, my recommendation is to use (better) alternatives that are free.

SuperAntiSpyware
Adaware SE
SpyBot Search & Destroy

The three above are all good for occasional scanning'
These below should be run in real time protection mode.

Windows Defender
Zone Alarm for the firewall
Spyware Blaster

Having said all that, if you really want Xoftspy installed, you can ignore the warnngf about the publisher and continue anyway.
