Hello, one and all. Thank god for your instructions!!! I don't recall what I did to get the password prompt every time I turned on my computer, but I could not get rid of it! It was maddening! When you pull a Hewlett-Packard out of its carton and turn it on there is instant desktop, so, by default, a Hewlett-Packard instantly produces a desktop without the rigmarole of passwords. Thank again!!
