Gives me an idea - would people be interested in a list of newsletters that are useful and can help in learning about computers, keeping up with developments etc.

Currently I only have a few:

Scott's Newsletter:  http://www.scotsnewsletter.com/subcenter/subscribe.htm

Fred Langa: http://langa.com/join_langalist.htm

Office Watch & Email Essentials: http://office-watch.com/index.asp
(There's several newsletters you can sign up for)

Used to get tips from the Dummies site, but it got a bit too basic for me. You can learn all sorts of tips for a variety of software:

A really good site for Windows user is this one.
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm
I've found it very useful in the past, a lot of tweaks and repairs available.

BP I already had the subcriptions to Scotty's and Fred Langa, have now signed up for the office watch, thank you.
I used to get the lockergnome one, but like you I found it hard to follow, clicking links to other pages etc, I even tried it in the RSS version but that was the same, a shame really cause there was some good info in them.
