I've got a amd athlon(tm) xp 1250hmz but the problem is when it starts up it just gets to the memory testing screen then crashes i tried restarting it and it got into the windows login user screen then just crashed again and the mouse disapeared, the loading led light is stays yellow but on the screen nothings happening,

If this is the same machine from the other posts, it may be time for a new machine.

From what I can understand from your post, you may need to flash the BIOS.

I wanted to insert a hyperlink, this should get you started, make sure you note what kind of BIOS you are currently running.  (Phoenix http://www.phoenix.com/en/Home/default.htm is probably the most popular).  American Megatrend http://www.ami.com/is another popular one.

hmm i had a friend fix it, what he notice'd when the system was starting up it was runing bois from a cd rather then the harddrive now its working fine,

also this is a diffrent pc to the one in the other topic =) #
