Download manager stopped prompting for location

Hello all,
Quick question. I downloaded IE-7 with Service pack 2. The download manager has stopped asking me for the download location. Instead, it just places the file into the "temporary Internet folder". How can I have the D/L manger to once again prompt me for a location? Thanks in Advance.

This is probably to do with your security settings (Internet) in IE7. Here's a complete write-up on how to tweak the settings:

Nope. This did not fix it. I had this happen once before, and it was such a easy fix. I just can't remember how to do it. After following the instructions to the letter, the D/L is still directed to the "Internet Temporary Folder". And my bad, I do NOT have Service Pack 2 installed. Just IE7. Any help will be appreciated. thanks in advance.

Could this be to do with you having IE7 but not SP2?
Unless you have a quite old machine, the advice is to install SP2.
Then you need to do any updates to XP.
