i installed a stripped down version of xp to get better performance. apparently it has only english, german etc languages to use on keyboard. how can i install my own language? i have also an original xp home cd. can i copy iyt somehow from there>

This isn't something I've come across before, so the only thing I can suggest is trying a repair install from the XP Cd you have.
