From what I've read, this program can be difficult to uninstall.

If you've not had it installed for too long, you could try a system restore. I gather that Flyakite creates a restore point before it installs.

If that's not possible, have you tried right-click on the desktop, then properties and changing the theme to one of the  XP options. It's possible that the theme has remained although the program has been removed.
