wont let me put icon on taskbar,,
it says volume controller not installed .   glupek2

So, How do I Reinstall It ?
Butt, Most of all,, "Where do I get it" ??

Has your sound card been intalled and setup correctly? If it has then the volume controls should work. If you don't have a sound card or it isn't working correctly, then the volume controls won't work and can't be added to the quick launch.

Check device manager - is there any yellow warning against any sound devices?

Right-click My Computer - Properties - Hardware - Device Manager
