Hello to all,
When I double click to open an Excel or Word file from a folder, it takes very long time to open. This has happened to files of size as small as 75KB. (It took me 18 seconds to open an Word file of about 75KB and about 30 seconds to open a 890 KB Excel file in a brand new Dell Latitude D-630 notebook.

At the same time, the same files opened with in 2 seconds when they are opened from 'within' the Word or Excel applications.

But suprsingly a 40 MB Power Point file took me about 3 seconds when double-clicked from the folders. The problem seems to be only with Word or Excel files....

any ideas?? Thanks.
