can someone please help me solve my monitor problem?
ive just bought an asrock k7s41 motherboard installed it along with a geforce4 mx440se agp graphics card and things were great for just over a week then my monitor an avidav 19inch lcd tft keeps saying no signal input, so i tried it without the graphics card and used the onboard graphics card but to the same effect no signal input so i tried my old faithful samsung syncmaster 750s monitor and the same message appeared by this time i thought get the petrol and lighter out, what could the problem be? can anyone help?

Assuming that you've used a different lead with each monitor, that rules out anything beyond the motherboard.
My guess would be a faulty motherboard - take it back to the supplier?

hi,
The solution is correct, its an issue with the video card that you were using. the other video cards did not work because the Bios of the motherboard has been set for the pci card that you using hence the onboard is diabled....
You can test the monitor, by unplugging the VGA cable from the back of the computer and you should get the same message as no input signal which would last for 30 seconds approx, which proves that the monitor is fine.
