Poll....

First I want to see if the majority of people think that 50 posts are too many...If the majority think it should be less...then I will start another poll, with how many posts u think.

My view is that if a thread is ongoing you don't want to wade through the thirty posts from yesterday to see whats newc - I'm lazy

When you want  to view the last post on a thread, all you have to do is click on the arrowhead icon next to the last poster's name. That will take you to the last post in the thread. No need to scroll through all the posts.

If you want to read through all the posts in a thread, then a higher amount of posts on view will mean less times having to click on "next page".

The only people with a problem are those on dial-up, but they would suffer either way.

Jason I do prefer the longer page, but as Squeexebox said we have to take into consideration the people on dial-up...my original suggestion was just to give people an option...one click and a member can have ALL posts on  a page or 1 2 3 4 etc for the peole on dial-up.
