I a 3 month trial which came with the PC, then used Avast but it cause some problems with Vista's sidebar so I clean installed Vista again and after the trial used AVG then Kaspersky Internet Security.

McAfee stilll has some active elements on your system I will remove them and see if that helps

The fix should only take a very short time. When the fix is completed a message box will popup telling you that it is finished. Click the Ok button and Notepad will open with a log of actions taken during the fix. Post that information back here along with a new Hijackthis log.

I will review the information when it comes back in.

What do I do if I don't have a log as it needed to restart?
