Whatever you guys decide is fine by me. I've been longest on one forum where you can't edit once you've previewed and posted. Not a serious problem, you can always post another as a correction if necessary.
Now a spell checker - that would be a first. Can you do it?

Hey, I have a Perrrrrrrrrfect solution
I can create a group and those that want this function can be added. So all the regulars can edit delete....and it keeps this function from being available to everyone.
How does that sound?

Just create a group for anyone that whinges. Put them all in there and leave them to it!
Seriously - I don't think that's a good idea. Just leave the edit function out - people will soon get used to it.

This group would be a hidden group that the only differenece would be that they would have permissions set to allow edit and delete of their own Posts....so it wouldn't duplicate anything...

you should now have the feature back....let me know if you can Edit/Delete now?
Here are the users that I put in that group (these folks can edit/delete) ..
