A friend of mine sends me mail from yahoo and any attachments, even just text messages arrive as a power point presentation. Is this some security setting in yahoo somewhere? I cannot find any clues to it at all.???

Sturm,

So your friend is the one with Yahoo, or you have yahoo?

Or actually, what I'm trying to find out, is how do you access your email.  Do you use Outlook Express or do you use the web based email.

Strum,

I would ask your friend what they are doing. I have not heard of anything that could cause an attachment being converted to PowerPoint - and I think it extremely unlikely. It's most likely a sender error issue.

Thanks. Its my friend who sends them from yahoo and I receive them into OExpress. Its only her mails that this happens with so like you say it must be a sender error somehow? She also uses yahoo from the server rather than using a mail application? Thats all I can tell?
