wasup all,my windows media player 10 doesnt want to run everytime a choose to stream a video clip. It starts up as if it is going to play then it disappears just like that. ive tryed to uninstall it and the hotfixes as well as the runtime and then reinstall it but it didnt do any good. can anyone help me out

You should try reinstalling it (dont uninstall it, just install on top of itself).  Download it from this link and follow the instructions, and it should fix itself.

still wont play media contents,o'well i guess ill have to reformatt

Reformatting is a bit of a drastic way to sort this out. There's probably a simpler solution, like maybe the format of the video you are trying to play needs a plugin. You might want to try a bit more digging around before reformatting:

Finally - hang aorund a bit, there's others on here that may have more experience with Media Player and can advise you.
