Smartbar XP is pretty cool, though it can be tempermental at times.

I use a double display, and the vertical bar resides in the right side of my left monitor. If you have it umlocked, it moves to the right monitor's left side.

Neat bug.... You can't use it on the right monitor's left side. Instead of trying to "catch" the lock icon so it doesn't flip back and forth just drag your mouse to the edge of the screen (either one).

I like the resizable panels that are completely customizeable.

It is not good for extensive directory trees, but works fine with Favorites.

There is a note manager, a calendar, and a slidinmg volume control at your beckon. This is a great improvement over the Windows taskbar.

All of the panels are resizeable and the whole thing can be made to autohide.
