Common folder ,what is it and where does it come from? ive noticed it on my mothers pc,and it pops up everytime she starts up her comp. Theres nothing in  the folder so why does it pop up all the time and how can i disable it? Its a real nag if anyone can help,please do. thx

Go to Start-->Programs-->Startup--> then delete the folder from the list (if it's there).

its not in the start up folder    any other ideas? iam stumped

You'll need to edit the registry, there's details of a fix here

Basically it involves making sure that all entries with spaces in the Run notations are encapsulated with quotes.
