Here, there, Everywhere,.... I have been everywhere.

I had a couple of troublesome programs that would not uninstall.
I went and found a uninstaller to uninstall them.
"It did uninstall those programs refusing to uninstal but the uninstaller also uninstalled Explorer.exe" which we all know crashes one's PC smooth.

The guy that built my PC also has my Windows XP Pro CD which he said twice now "I'll burn you a copy for your PC."

Well 2 months later still no CD.

And another thing I thought was just to funny, my PC had a bad place on the HDD, so we had to send it back to WD my gf found out my 'RAPTOR' [74GB] (10,000RPM)has a 10 warrenty Just got my replacment drive today. :)

A friend also bought me a 250GB HDD.
So Saturday my girlfriend and I will install both HDD's and reload Windows XP Pro (she is a PC Tech) she sold me a older copy of XP Pro.
So you know I will be sitting through hot fix after hot fix. But my system will again be 100%,...."its running about 45% now."

 Why not download autopatcher for february and all you hotfixes will go on without having to go online to download them.  Download links about halfway down  http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=432780

Yes a friend of mine just the other day told me about that,"Autopatcher".

What I would like to to do is copy my Windows XP Pro CD Download SP2 and download "ALL" the hotfixes and other things I will need to a nice DVD. In case I have to re-load.

My gf the PC Tech says I can not possible fit all the Hotfixs upon one DVD.
What do you all think? Is it possible.
So if I have to reload, I plop in my backup DVD and reload?

I think you could fit XP + SP2 + all the updates on a 4.5GB DVD. Infact, Ive done it myself + most of my programs, for which I made batch files to self install. If you want to go that route: it's easy enough to slipstream SP2 with your XP CD, and you can "apply" all the updates to the 'I386' folder (on the XPCD).

See the following link for all the info needed for tnat:
http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/

But, since you seem to have plenty of hard drive space it would probably be a better idea to create an image of a fresh install and keep that on a separate partition.

That looks the way to go.
Of course convincing My PC Tech GF ("The Expert") as my friends call her.

I had wanted to partion my 250GB and create a mirror image of my files then then reinstall everything on to the New 'RAPTOR' but she said NO NO.

This looks like the way to go, thank you Cache

~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~
Of course she also said I could not install a new LCD Screen upon my PC,...
Why would want to do that?? you have a small one that tells you the case temp.
"THE CASE TEMP" whew. That is important!. NOT!.
thanks to freecycle.org I found a older tech that is bord silly will do PC repairs for free :)
