i have just got a wireless network ; / great internet works fine on both now im wondering... can i get files from my laptop on to my pc ; / tho the wireless connection somehow?

Or just enable Simple File Sharing and make sure both computers are on the same Workgroup. There is a 'Set up home or small office network' wizard in 'Network Connections' control panel applet.
