Thankyou for the reply to my email 20/9 . I tried your suggestions but to no avail I am currently running Microsoft Antispyware and also Spyware blaster ran scans on both and nothing showed so explorer still wont run , fortunatly I found a copy of Mozilla on disc so Iam running on this. Question is do I leave it at that or should I scrub Explorer and try to reload it or should I leave well enough alone.

Hi Barry,
Glad you were able to find a temporary work-around...
There are others on this board, that probably have no idea what you are talking about....so I will post your email so that others can give feedback as well...I will also, do some checking to see if I can figure this one out for you....
----- Email----------
...I cannot launch my Internet Explorer for some reason everytime I try to connect I get Runtime Error Program c:\ program files\ Internet Explorer\iexplore exe
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me any advice on how I might solve this problem, bearing in mind I am a novice when it comes to technology

Hi,
If the above does not work try this:
Goto Start-->Run and type "RUNDLL32 setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 %windir%infie.inf" (without the quotes) then press enter.
