New Forum Style Information

Since the changeover to the new forum board, apart from getting used to differences in appearance and ways to do things, there is one 'problem'.
All of the topics in a thread will appear with a 'New' flag against them until you either open the topic or set as being read. This is due to the cookie you would have had on the old board not recognised by the new. You can get round this easily:
To bulk clear the messages that all say 'new', go down the right hand side of the forum section and click in the box alongside each topic. Then click on the button to 'Mark as Read'.
A pain, I know. But it's better than having to read them all again. It's down to new cookies with the new forum style.
To get notifications, click on the Notify button on any post you want to get emails for.
TIP: in your profile options, you can choose to have the latest replies appear at the top of a thread, rather than at the end. Much easier than having to trawl through all that was posted before.
