There are certain times when you don’t want a cd to run immediately when inserted. Turning this off can be done through a fairly simple windows setting, but there are times when the cd you insert seems to ignore the setting and automatically startup anyways. This can be resolved by following a few simple steps… |

Before beginning this guide, please do this
Click ,
then 
Type regedit then click 
Then Navigate to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom 
On the right side, locate and double click on Autorun and give it a value of 0
Then Reboot your computer
