Some of my XP keyboard shortcuts have stopped working?! Pls. Help!

Post by Meta4kly2007 » Thu Aug 16, 2007 7:02 pm

Hi there.  I used to be able to minimize everything (as many of you short-cut users know) by hitting my WINDOWS key along with M (Window + M), but now that doesn't work anymore.  All my other shortcuts work fine and even the Windows key is operational, just not in the Shortcut + M mode.

Any idea how I can either reassociate the shortcut or completely setup my Windows Shortcuts to fix this?

Much appreciated.

I can't find any information on this one, it may require a registry hack.

Try a System Restore to a date before the problem appeared.

Did you install any programs recently.  Perhaps a registry editing program or some other program took control of this function.

Thanks for checking.  I am always uninstalling programs and running Registry Mechanic or anti-spyware programs.  Maybe something happened you say?

I have system-restore turned off to save resources (I run a DAW - Digital Audio Workstation).

Looks like I'm out of luck huh?

I really appreciate you looking into things.  Thanks for your time.
